The KNIPEX SmartGrip® is designed for professionals who regularly switch between different workpiece sizes. Featuring fully automatic adjustment, it instantly adapts to pipes and nuts with a simple one-handed operation — suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
Its slim head and joint design, combined with a flush joint bolt, provide excellent access in tight or confined spaces. The self-locking mechanism ensures a secure grip on pipes and nuts, preventing slipping while reducing the amount of hand force required.
The gripping surfaces feature specially hardened teeth (approx. 61 HRC) for exceptional wear resistance and long-term durability. A robust box-joint construction with double guide provides added stability under load.
For added safety, an integrated pinch guard helps protect fingers during use. A locking lever allows the handles to be secured in a closed position for safe, compact storage and transport.
